ATS was started in 1948 by Harry and Ruth Unell serving the sewing trade in
Atlanta. Harry would deliver thread by hand truck to the local garment
manufacturing businesses and Ruth would bill them. Since this humble
beginning we have grown to be one of the largest, most trusted and respected
suppliers in America.
We are still a family-owned business and regard our employees as part of
